SAVING THE CLASSIC CARTOONS/MOVIES FOR OUR CHILDREN

so I shut dangel eyez and began to think about the furture(work...investmemnts...engagement..fiance..marriage..house..car...children..children playing around..my children watching cartoons/movies) and then I stop..my children!!!, what cartoons/movies will be showing at that time???????

 I remember discussing this with a friend of mine and i was like what will our children watch growing up, AVATAR??? OMG!!...avatar no hard feelings but i would really want my child to see movies like tarzan, judge of the jungle, little mermaid, snow white and the 7 dwarfs(the original one, not these fake ones) and ofcourse the likes of SOUND OF MUSIC. 

        seriously, this might seem funny now but its not. I enjoyed reading all those fairy tale books and watching movies like pocahontas, hercules, aladin and sound of music

  I checked youtube and saw the barbie thumbellina movie trailer 2009 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4K7cY4nlpg) and this was a comment i totally agreed with:

"great. now kids are going to learn this stupid 'thumbelina' story and not the real one. this sucks. bring back the good old school thumbelina"

                             All i could say was "my dear you are feeling my pain".

I can go on and on typing out what i feel about this issue....

   NOW WHO REMEMBERS THIS CARTOON AND DON'T FORGET TO SING ALONG :D :D

   
THERE IS NO WAY MY CHILD IS NOT GOING TO SING ALONG TO THIS CLASSIC CARTOON AND MANY MORE LIKE IT...
                  maybe i should just start downloading them now...or do they still sell them especially all those fairytale books that used to come in a pack????
