The president extends his sincere condolences to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon and all members of the United Nations family who have lost loved ones in the heinous attack."

I find myself completely speechless as to what to say on this matter.. It just baffles me.
There's a group called boko haram that is responsible for recent attacks- everyone knows about them..abi?
Most people say they are based in maidugiri so if its true, their location is known and most likely in a smaller/ less crowded state than other states.
I don't see the group as having anything above what a good security can detect. This is Nigeria now, last time I checked we are not leading in technology.
I mean remember the incident that took place at the police headquarters. As the story goes , the young man just drove into the compound armed with bomb shikena!! simple!!
I do not UNDERSTAND why this group has not been stopped/apprehended yet.
These bomb attacks are constantly exposing how weak the security of the nation is and it is sad. I mean I am almost certain that the people involved have no high-tech plan of causing these attacks yet they succeed and worse,in yesterday's bomb blast, the person or group that executed the mission escaped without being identified.. I just wonder!!
As someone pointed out "you would have thought somewhere like Abuja would be seriously fortified and monitored with state of the art communication/scanning/intrusive equipment.."
I pray for this country and I pray that God gives the president wisdom on how to handle this. A lot of Nigerians are disappointed with the way the situation is being handled and lashing out insults on the government but the truth is we are stuck with this government for a few more years and to be honest, the best thing to do is pray that God will give them wisdom for our sake.
