HOT NEW VIDEO: JANKOLIKO-Chidinma(Project fame winner) ft Sound sultan

Chidinma , the winner of  the just concluded MTN PROJECT FAME just released her video for her single JANKOLIKO
Song was produced by one of my fav Nigerian producer and song writer, Oscar Heman-Ackah.

Video was directed by Clarence Peters.

Sound Sultan did a brilliant job on this one, loved his parts. I love the message of the song:
"everyone wey one chop must work, no food for lazy man..."
abi ooo.
So apparently if you want cheddars and fancy cars but you no one hustle,
you be "jankoliko" lool
all these artists digging up slangs, it actually does sound like a name you'll give a lazy person.. :D

I like the song but at first i thought there was some connection missing between chidinma and the song(not sure) but overall its okay and she did a good job.
Clarence Peters ,brilliant as always and I definitely love Chidinma's outfits .
.
Hope to hear more from her SOON..
what do you think??

I am really, extremely confused
WOW!!
Those are not your statistics oh biko!!! you are chuwen-chuwen??(or what was she trying to say).
I did not get why that girl was telling us of her around -the-country-in -i have no idea how many days STORY

Boko Haram claim SUICIDE BOMBING of police HQ.. OMG!!

SUICIDE BOMBING???
OH NO!!!!

Nigerian radical Islamist sect, Boko Haram, has claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on police headquarters in the capital Abuja that killed two, saying their target was the police chief.
"We are responsible for the bomb attack on the police headquarters in Abuja which was to prove a point to all those who doubt our capability," the group known as Boko Haram said after the attack late Thursday.

Boko Haram, sometimes called the Nigerian Taliban, had warned Wednesday of "fiercer" attacks saying it was angered by a police declaration that its days were "numbered."

In the statement signed by spokesman Abu Zaid, the group said the police chief had recently been making "unguarded utterances to the effect that he will crush us in a matter of days."

"The National Police Headquarters, Abuja was yesterday rocked by a blast from an explosive-laden car that was driven into the compound by a suspected bomber. The attack, which claimed at least two lives, came barely 24 hours after the Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim, boasted that the violent Islamist sect, Boko Haram, would be suppressed in days....." more on 234next.com

Mohammed Salihu, whose office at the Airtel call centre is opposite the Louis Edet House, said: "Just moments after the siren of the IG blasted past, I heard the explosion. It was a shocking sound, one I hope never to hear such again."

This is just sad :( . Its just scary  that some Nigerians are now comfortable as suicide bombers. Why on earth will the chief brag about suppressing this people when he hasn't done anything yet.I mean how did they manage to be part of his convoy.
We need intelligent people in the military for God's sake, Mr President there is fire on the mountain o!!

I think the best plan is to create a squad of YOUNG INTELLIGENT nigerians to investigate and help fish out this people!!

In other news, the corpers that were kidnapped have still not been found... :(

How did we get to this stage?
Bad government, wrong decisions, greedy GREEDY people.
God save us all.
My condolences to the families of the victims...

Music Video featuring Selected Nigerian All Stars by Neighbour 2 Neighbour directed by Creative Impressario Steve Gukas edited and color timed by Lummie Edevbie

hmmmm so I will like to know who the guy  from 3:21 to 3:27 is.
Enjoyed the part were Onyeka was speaking Igbo.. :)
The people that definitely impressed me are the instrumentalists ..God bless them ,they did an amazing job..BRILLIANT all the way.
I wonder if the beginning was just an act or it truly happened *i'm hoping its not the latter tho*, if its an act then great job. I do not like the end though as I really wasn't feeling the "all we are saying...." part.

Great song, really talented people, loved from the 2nd verse till the end and I adore the instrumentalists.

PUT YOURSELF IN MY POSITION BEFORE YOU START JUDGING ME!!

"Natasha, the GM will like to see you now " says the secretary with an expressionless face that I have gotten used to within the short while.
Walking in from the gate of the entire building to this office, everything has impressed me. " God please this interview better go well, I'd be super excited" I think to myself dressed in a decent and classy outfit which took me days to finalize. I finally got an interview date with GeorgeDills  Ltd, OFCOURSE everything has to be perfect.

After 30mins of trying to answer hard questions and the interview didn't seem to be going anywhere good, the GM gave his final conclusion "well, I'm actually not impressed by this interview and if I say we would get back to you, we actually wont. You are a really pretty girl and if we get to know each other better over a good lunch and a great night at one of the best hotels,I'm sure this interview will end up being great and you'll get the job".

At this point, my mind kept running around like it was searching for something tangible to say. I should walk out now just like I have always said or thought I would when I find myself in this situation but all I could say was "but sir, sir" and he said "well natasha, its your call. You have to decide now to let this interview turn out great with a good night with me or walk out and remain unemployed". I just kept saying to myself "naty get up and leave " but I did not want to lose the job , I was mega confused and I stood up and said "thank you so much sir, I'd be leaving your office now" and I walked out praying to God to stop me from turning back and accepting his offer.

Even if I did not agree to his demands, I still could not believe how confused I was because even as I was walking out, I felt like I had made a wrong choice. ahn ahn!! I could not even tell my friends about what took place in that office unless I'd have to lie that I insulted the man badlyyy and probably slapped the hell out of him and walked out without thinking twice but mehn! that did not happen.

 ***end of Natasha's story***

I was chatting with a good friend of mine some weeks ago and the issue of people judging other people came up. She said "unless the person takes a gun to start killing people for a living , no one should judge any other person until you've been in their shoes" and I totally agreed.
Now its not like years back I would not have agreed to this statement, ofcourse I would but its not until recently I understood what it meant.
I found myself in various positions that I was sure I knew how to react but found myself surprisingly acting differently. You see a prostitute on the road and judge her because you are very sure no condition can turn you into a prostitute but the truth is you have NO CLUE how you'd have reacted to the same condition that led the lady you've judged into prostitution. Funny thing is you might have done WORSE

Loads of us judge friends and people we haven't met because we think we would have made better choices, maybe we would but the truth is you'd probably end up admitting it was not an easy decision to make.
The story is not based on any true story and all the names do not refer to anyone.(abeg o)
I am not a writer but I really wanted to make my point which I hope I did  :).

THE FIVE RICHEST PASTORS IN NIGERIA ACCORDING TO FORBES!!

According to a blogger for forbes Mfonobong Nsehe, this is the list for the 5 richest pastors in Nigeria. At the end of the list, most of you might have a question and I think I know what that question will be so you'd find the answer at the bottom of this post.
He says "I contacted representatives for all of the pastors and all except Matthew Ashimolowo’s representative confirmed ownership of the assets I list. Representatives for Pastor Ashimolowo did not respond to my emails."

Bishop David Oyedepo
Affiliation: Living Faith World Outreach Ministry, aka Winners Chapel
Estimated net worth: $150 million
David Oyedepo is Nigeria’s wealthiest preacher. Ever since he founded the Living Faith World Outreach Ministry in 1981, it has grown to become one of Africa’s largest congregations....

Chris Oyakhilome
Church: Believers’ Loveworld Ministries, a.k.a Christ Embassy
Estimated net worth: $30 million – $50 million
...His church, Christ Embassy, boasts more than 40,000 members, several of whom are successful business executives and politicians. Oyakhilome’s diversified interests include newspapers, magazines, a local television station, a record label, satellite TV, hotels and extensive real estate. His Loveworld TV Network is the first Christian network to broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world on a 24 hour basis.

Temitope Joshua
Church: Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN)
Estimated net worth: $10 million – $15 million
Nigeria’s most controversial clergyman is also one of its richest and most philanthropic. T.B Joshua heads the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), a congregation he founded in 1987, which accommodates over 15,000 worshippers on Sundays. The Pastor has remained controversial for several years for his inexplicable powers to heal all sorts of incurable diseases, including HIV/AIDS, cancer and paralysis....

Matthew Ashimolowo
Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC)
Estimated net worth: $6 million – $10 million
....Today, his Kingsway International Christian Center is reportedly the largest Pentecostal church in the United Kingdom. In 2009, the church posted profits of close to $10 million and assets worth $40 million. Ashimolowo earns an annual salary of $200,000, but his real wealth comes from varied business interests including his media company......
Chris Okotie
Church: Household of God Church
Net worth: $3 million -$10 million
Pastor Okotie made his first success as a popular pop musician in the 80s. He found the light, embraced the bible and set up the Household of God Church, one of Nigeria’s most flamboyant congregations. His 5,000 member church consists predominantly of Nollywood celebrities, musicians, and society people......
WHERE IS PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE??
Ans: Mfonobong Nsehe says "When I contacted the RCCG, I was told that Pastor Adeboye does no exactly own the churh. He’s just the General Overseer, so he doesn’t own the assets of the church or any other vast estate. As a matter of fact, the Private Jet he uses belongs not to him, but to the church. But, definitely, he’s considerably rich."
Actually ermm I got nothing more to add :D
I hope they continue to live good lives and preach about salvation

MOHITS SIGNS WITH G.O.O.D MUSIC (KANYE'S RECORD LABEL)

So yes I know right about now this is staleeee news owing to the fact that great news spreads faster than the speed of light but still i gotta share. Who knows, there's probably someone who hasn't heard that:

"For those who don't know L.A. Reid, he's managed the careers of pop supernovasMariah CareyPinkTLCRihannaKanye West, and Usher just to name a few. He was the Chairman and CEO of Island Def Jam Records for the since 2004 (stepped down in March), and is going to be a judge on the US version of X-Factor." - kilonsparkles?

This is truly an achievement for the Mohits crew and for the Nigerian music industry. So I'm glad.
Now I'd sit and watch what other surprises DONJAZZY has for us. Yesterday, a little bird told me MOHITS is just getting started *hmmmmm*
